We all want to be Tiger Woods who has made a total of 140 feet worth of putts on 5 holes! Truth is we are lucky to get that through 54 holes of golf. No I am not guaranteeing you that you can be the next Tiger Woods, but I am guaranteeing you that you can become a better putter. How you may ask? By practicing right, and using good drills.

The drill I am about to teach you is one to help you gauge the speed of your putt and distance.

1. Put a club 3 feet behind the hole (1.5 feet if you want to take it to the EXTREME)
2. Put a tee 10 ft, 15 ft, 20 ft, and 25 ft. (You can go farther if you wish)
3. Grab 3 balls and set them next to the 10 ft tee.
4. Now you want putt them and try to make them.
5. Do not leave it short, or hit the club behind. If you do you have to start over. I'll explain in the rules.

RULES: You can not hit it short, or hit the club. It HAS TO STOP IN BETWEEN THE HOLE AND CLUB. If it comes up short you have to start over, and the same if it hit the club. However, you gain a freebie if you make any putt, and there is no limit to the number of freebies. So if you get all 3 from 10 ft in between the hole and club, but then go to 15 ft and miss the 2nd putt, you start over from te 10 ft one.

NOTE: This will build confidence and help you sink more putts.
